Ello!

With music blaring in the background I look around my office and decide I MUST start on my home work... I am behind in three out of my four classes and told myself I would write out flashcards to study for my upcoming quiz on tuesday. Ugh! Why didnt I do all this on Friday since it was my first FULL day of nothing to do? Oh thats right I am the queen of procrastination! And my OCD does not at all help with this perdicament. Just as I sit down in front of my computer screen and start opening internet explorer I notice out of the corner of my eye "a huge mess" in my office closet. By anyone elses standards it would've been perfectly fine how it was but I could not focus on anything else other than the fact that my drawers were filled with junk and the top of the dresser was cluttered, now thirty-five minutes later I decide I should've just let it be. It's like it never ends.

Lesson of the day: do not put a dresser in a closet in a room you never go into because it will just become the catch all of random junk.

  1. Nely, you made me smile - I have a junk drawer too....I don't even want to think about things that are lurking in there... ;p-)

  2. Hi Nely,

Some people do their best work under pressure. Eventhough we tell ourselves "I got this much tie to complete the task", we still wait until time is almost up and then produce some of our best work. Don't feel too bad. I do the same thing and then get upset with myself.
